Scarlett noticed it was fairly warm outside and she decided it was about the time that Dairy Queen would re-open. Scarlett walked over to her closet and looked for a cute tank top to wear. She grabbed her black one and then put a white one on top of it. Looking at herself in the mirror she smiled and walked over to her bed, grabbed her purse and left her room.
She didn't feel like driving today, and she thought that if she walked she would want her ice-cream even more than ever. As she began to want she looked around at all the other people outside. She hadn't seen this many people in ages. Maybe it was because she had been hiding herself from the world most the time. But it was nice to atleast seem normal.
Nearing Dairy Queen Scarlett got excited, but then she saw the line. It's not that it was big, it was just there was more people than she first hoped there would be. 'Hopefully I will meet someone in line' Scarlett thought to herself. As she got in line and looked around hoping for someone she could talk to.

Wheels flinched as someone steps into line behind him. He peers over his shoulder at the dark haired girl. For some reason he wasn't really in the mood for socializing. It must have been that fact that he was out walking by himself all day. He was just wondering around calmly, not really going anywhere and not really doing anything but enjoying the blissful days of solitude he had left. Wheels forced himself to look back again, he knew it would be easier to keep calm while he waited if he wasn't intimidated and afraid to look back.

Seeing no one really behind infront of her or beside her she turned around to see a boy look at her once. Making her smile a little bit she just stood there hoping he would look back again and again until one of them, began to talk to the other person.
The line began to move slowly and she was trying to be patient but at the same time it was hard when all you really wanted was an ice-cream. All of a sudden she saw the boy look back at her once more. Her smiled grew as his head turned back. 'Do I talk? Or do I not talk?' she pondered the question in her mind. 'Well I can't be anti-social for the rest of my life' she reminded herself.
"Hey" Was all she said, at first hoping he would talk back to her.

Wheeler furrowed his brow. He hadn't a slightest clue if the girl had just said hey to him, or to someone else. He felt extremely stupid. He turned around anyway, figuring that he would probably never see her again in his life anyway. "Oh, hey. You know what you're going to get yet?" He couldn't really think of anything else to say.

Keeping her sweet smile on she looked at him and giggle at what he said. Thinking about his question. "Hmm, I don't really know" Scarlett told him begging to think of something to order, "I might just get a plain ice-cream cone" She told him. She knew it was boring but she didn't feel like going all out on the ice-cream today.
"Do you know what you going to get?" Scarlett asked, still smiling. She had always been a people person but after the experiment she was never the same. Looking at him for a moment she had a feeling like she had seen this boy before but she didn't know where or how. She slightly shook her head to try and get her mind out of it, but the thought was always there, feeling like she almost knows him from somewhere.

He laughed. "Oh, I haven't the slightest clue. I was going to ask you to cut in front of me if you already knew what to get. I always piss off cashiers like that." He looked at the menu. "Is it wrong for a guy to love strawberry? "

"I couldn't cut, that would be wrong" Scarlett told him, smiling the entire time. She loved talking it didn't really matter who she was talking to. But sometimes she only wanted to talk to certain people. "I don't think so" She told him, giving him a little weird look. She didn't understand where that came from, she figured he just liked strawberry ice-cream. "Is that what you wanted to get?" She asked.
That thought kept returning to her mind, for some reason she felt like she knew him from somewhere. She figured she might as well just get the question over with, she looked at him. Almost like she was studying him for a moment, and she was sure she had known him from somewhere. "Do I know you from somewhere?" She asked, finally getting the question out of the way.

Wheels paused, and stared briefly at the girl. He had just now noticed her familiar features. She was slightly tanner than she was when he last saw her, that was probably what threw him off. "Oh.. you're from the thing, weren't you?"

Looking at the boy for a moment, she thought about it and she relized he was right. That was where she had seen him. A lot of conffusion ran through her head, trying to figure out if they were thinking of the same thing. She knew if she wasn't and she told him about the experiment she would look like a total loser and never forgive herself. Trying to bring back the confidence in herself she was sure that was where she had seen him.
"Yeah, the experiment" She told him as she continued to smile, that way if he wasn't, he would think she was creative when she flirted. Or atleast thats what she hoped for.

He nods, relieved to have found someone else who was probably feeling just as screwed up as he was. "So, what did you uh, get?" The line moved up as the first person in line got their order. Wheels looks over his shoulder and sidesteps a bit. He wasn't eager to tell her about his emotion, he felt it was just going to be socially awkward, so he wasn't the first to say it.

Looking at him, hoping he wouldn't feel akward once she told him. She was always scared to tell anyone else from the experiment hers because of what it makes her do. "Well, um" She bgean to say as she lifted her right arm and started playing with her straight hair. "I ended up with lust" She admitted, almost bitting her lip. Just hoping he would still talk to her afterwards because that was always a fear.
Stepping up as the line bgean to move she looked at Wheeler, "What did you get stuck with?" She asked, wondering what he got.

He paused for a few seconds before answering. He never really though of lust as an emotion. What was it, anyway? Wheels had heard the word before, and he knew what it meant, but how exactly did it work? He assumed he would find out eventually how it worked. "Oh, me? I got jealousy." he blushed, his fear of being rejected just as overwhelming as hers.

"Oh, that could suck" Scarlett told him, thinking of how jealously could make things so complicated when they don't need to be. She half kept her eye on the line as it slowly moved forward. She could tell he was feeling a little bit upset with what he was giving and how it made him act and she didn't blame him.
"So how have you been with it so far?" She asked, trying to see if he was having such a hard time with everything like she was. A part of her almost wished he was having a hard time but the other part new that was wrong and hoped he wasn't.

He nods thoughtfully. "Everyone thinks I'm just bipolar. I don't know." He looked over his shoulder at the lanky 9 year old boy who was blissfully decorating his face with a luscious chocolate ice cream, with traces of it actually making it to his mouth in the process. A little girl giggles at the spectacle. Wheels suddenly deeply envies their childish carelessness and decides to get chocolate ice cream too. He remembers that he was in the middle of a conversation and spoke again. "So how have you been holding up?"

As he looked at the little kids she studied him for a moment, just to see if you could see it in his face or his body if and when he got jealous. Scarlett could kindof see it just a little bit, she could also see how people thought he was just bipolar. " I can see how people just think your bipolar" She told him.
"Meh, As well as I can be" She told him looking at the ground and then back up at him. "It's really hard" Scarlett admitted, she knew that the experiment was going to be a challenge but thats what drew it to her, now that she has it. It's almost to much to handle.
